The Beginning

Bill's Heating & Air Conditioning was established in 1952.  Bill Hildenbrand started the sheet metal shop (then called Bill's Sheet Metal) with his son Alfred.  At the time, they worked out of a small garage behind his house.

Due to the successful beginning of the company and the demand of services, in 1961 they decided to expand the company by hiring a third employee and building a new shop at 526 Garfield St where the business still resides today. 

In 1968, Alfred bought the company from his father, and because the company was doing so well under the name "Bill's Sheet Metal", he decided to keep the company's logo so people would associate that name with good products and services.

Like Father, Like Son, Like Grandson

In 1978 the third generation, Todd, found an interest in the heating and a/c trade and started working for his father on a part-time basis while going to school and also during summer vacations.  He got his start by cleaning the shop, hauling garbage, and making deliveries. In 1982, Todd became a full-time employee of Bill's Heating & Air Conditioning & has since became the owner, with his father Alfred taking a role as the active Vice President. 

In it's 3rd generation, Bill's Heating & Cooling has evolved into a growing company that installs 300-400 A/C's and Furnaces a year.  In present day, the company has 8 employees, 2 installation crews, and 2 service crews.  "We're small enough that we can be available when our customers need us", says Todd.  "Our customers know the quality of service that we provide and they prove it by coming back to us as repeat customers."
